MedTrav India ("MedTrav", "we", "us") coordinates medical travel to India for international patients and works with referral partners such as facilitators, physicians and institutions. This policy explains what information we collect through medtrav.in, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Our registered office is in Gurugram, Haryana, India, and you can reach us at cases@medtrav.in.
We collect only what we need to respond to you and coordinate care:
Please do not send information that is not needed for your enquiry. Medical reports are optional, and you can withhold them until you are ready.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
Within MedTrav, case data is visible only to the case manager and the treating hospital team assigned to your case.
Our work is cross-border by nature. Your information may be handled in India (where we and our partner hospitals operate) and in other countries where our service providers run their systems. By submitting information you understand that it will be processed for the purposes described in this policy.
We keep medical records and enquiry data only as long as needed for active care coordination, follow-up and legal or accounting requirements. Enquiries that do not lead to a case are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, subject to any records we must retain by law.
Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 where it applies, you may:
Write to cases@medtrav.in and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and limit access to people who need it for your case. No method of transmission over the internet or by email is completely secure, so please share sensitive documents only through the channels we give you and avoid sending more than is needed.
This site is not directed at children. When treatment is for a minor, we expect a parent or legal guardian to contact us and provide information on the child's behalf.
Details are in our Cookie Policy.
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date above shows the latest version. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
